freshman band camp is over

and I'm soaking wet

what we did:

Monday
1. Watched a video made by our president about rules and such (xD), watched a performance by The Cavaliers (a drum corps), watched last year's routines.
2. Started on the field with basic stationary stances: attention, parade rest, left/right haces, dress center, ready front, etc.
3. lunch!
4. split into band, drumline, pit, and guard. We (guard) went into the theater and. . . well. . . actually, I forget.
5. water fight! but the leaders got a head start. :c

Tuesday
1. Watched The Blue Devils perform
2. went onto the field and marked time and marched forward and backward
3. lunch~~
4. split. Guard went and tossed just about a bajillion times and did some of the opener for the field show
5. outside games. c:

Wednesday
1. Watched a corps that our band director was in!
2. Went onto the field and did touch-and-gos. and I think that was it!
3. lunch
4. split. Guard worked on tosses and parade and such
5. karaoke. XD

Thursday
1. Went onto field and learned slides and hip turns, plus box and figure eight drills. Had drill-downs.
2. lunch - freshman potluck!
3. split. Worked on parade.
4. GIANT EPIC WATER FIGHT. <3

and then it ended.
