I. I've had a cold for the past three days. Just an upper respiratory infection/rhinovirus/post-nasal drip/whatever else you want to call "the common cold." If anyone I know in real life wonders why I've been gone from school yesterday and today, this is the reason. I lost my voice, too, so it wasn't like I was going to be able to do much in Choir or Japanese. I'll have a ton of catching up to do in all my classes. Ew.

II. I. . . finished Apollo Justice yesterday. Now I feel a bit empty. I'm devoid of text-based adventure games that require thought! aaaauuuugh. (And I'm devoid of Trucy, Polly, and Hobohodo. ;^; ) I hope I can someday get the first game. . . . The Mason System was cool, I have to hand it to Feenie. I just want some DL-6 and SL-9. :c

III. Art status: Almost completely stalled. I need to work on the Maniacal Musical piece, make a picture of Ripple, and more.

Let me share my schedule over the past few days.

Thursday:
zero period plus rehearsal at night

Friday:
zero period plus a football game plus Leatherby's afterward (Shaken baby syndrome!) (and Trevor's cup tower - 30!) (finally got to sleep at 1 am)

Saturday:
Seniors in band abducted the band freshman and brought us to a Denny's for breakfast before we went to Super Saturday, where we jazz ran for 8 hours. Dx

Pretty much, my arms and legs are dead and I haven't slept for the past few days.

I finished GS3 (Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations). . . .

I cried when I finished it. . .

Partly because the arc was over (I barely want to play my AJ game. ;-;), partly because Diego is such a great guy and the playing of his theme at the end (and what he says about his bleeding) hit me in the heart (his theme always has, but that hit even harder), and partly because I'm currently in the middle of having a mental breakdown.

I don't want to wake up at 5 am tomorrow.

• An iPod speaker and dock

and I'm soaking wet

what we did:

Monday
1. Watched a video made by our president about rules and such (xD), watched a performance by The Cavaliers (a drum corps), watched last year's routines.
2. Started on the field with basic stationary stances: attention, parade rest, left/right haces, dress center, ready front, etc.
3. lunch!
4. split into band, drumline, pit, and guard. We (guard) went into the theater and. . . well. . . actually, I forget.
5. water fight! but the leaders got a head start. :c

Tuesday
1. Watched The Blue Devils perform
2. went onto the field and marked time and marched forward and backward
3. lunch~~
4. split. Guard went and tossed just about a bajillion times and did some of the opener for the field show
5. outside games. c:

Wednesday
1. Watched a corps that our band director was in!
2. Went onto the field and did touch-and-gos. and I think that was it!
3. lunch
4. split. Guard worked on tosses and parade and such
5. karaoke. XD

Thursday
1. Went onto field and learned slides and hip turns, plus box and figure eight drills. Had drill-downs.
2. lunch - freshman potluck!
3. split. Worked on parade.
4. GIANT EPIC WATER FIGHT. <3

and then it ended.

oh, finally! Yoite waking Gau up was much cooler in the anime than in the manga (sorry, Kamatani-sensei! ;D;). Raikou's such a cool guy.

I'm not sure, but based on facial expressions, Kazuho either told Miharu how much longer Yoite has to live, or everyone's favorite Yoite-centric secret (y'know, the intersexualism.).

gaaaaah that was adorable at the end with the hugging at the yeah. ;^; NEED MORE YOHARU NEXT EP, OKAY, SQUARE ENIX?!

Episode 17 came out a few days ago. They're really starting to deviate from the manga, but it's still really good. ;w; I can't wait for subs!

Chapter 49 was finally posted in its entirety! <3333333 it was rly rly short, but still cute and action-filled. Yay for Kouichi-owl! <3 I think Aelphia's begun translating it~~

Oh, and yesterday, I went to The Fountains with my mom and sister and we went window-shopping. I saw this PERFECT Yoite hat, but it was 33 FRICKING DOLLARS. whyyyyy?! (well, at least we had Big Spoon Yogurt. <3)

I joined the Hijutsu Forum, plus I made a NnO Wiki.

Band camp starts in a week. . . . yay? we get to learn marching while spinning. XD;

Nabari No Ou Episode 16 raw

I couldn't understand a thing they were saying. (uh, duh.)

They changed a bunch of settings around, but Kouichi looked SO CUTE in this episode. ;0;

Hanabusa is still the most awesome thing ever. I swear, she and Raikou would be best friends if they weren't on opposite sides of the Thobari spectrum.

So much YoitexMiharu! *death from happiness* Yoite's scared of knives? so cute! ;0;

I do wish they'd left in Yoite's odd "SORA WAS NEVER THERE!" outburst, as well as Kazuho's asking Raikou why he won't wake Gau up, and Miharu finding Yoite's scar. They'll probably do those at some point, but I'd have loved to see them here.

That ending? I LOVE it. The animations are beautiful, as is the song. I still love Hikari's ELISA, but this is gorgeous, too. It's so cute. <3 I'm using screencaps of it in an AMV I'm making.

From what I can tell (or rather, what Google translated clearly. . .), Yuuki Kamatani-sensei is a fun person. ^w^ Then again, she does write Nabari No Ou, so it was bound to be true. XD;

(Hm, Chapter 49 RAWs and Episode 16 RAWs should be out soon. 16 just aired on TV Tokyo today, and Monthly G-Fantasy says that the August issue just came out on the 18th. hmmm~ *checks Veoh and the tube of you for the episode* *checks Look at the flying man! for chapter RAWs*)
